Relations Writing Lab. This writing sample reflects my ability to write an engaging press release for a reputable organization. It was written using the inverted pyramid format housing the most important information at the top and ending with a boiler plate at the end. I learned the importance of writing press releases in the inverted pyramid format to draw the intended reaction. 

The feature story below was conducted as part of an assignment for COM 366 - Public Relations Writing course at CSUDH. This feature story highlights a leader in the Latinx tech space. It depicts my ability to provide a detailed description of a person and their respectable ideas. For this assignment I learned how to center the subject in order to effectively highlight their accomplishments. 

The following writing sample begins with a PowerPoint presentation that provides context to the written genre analysis. This assignment was completed for ENG 350 at CSUDH. The prompt was to redesign existing digital content and then perform a moves analysis comparing and contrasting the two genres. I chose to redesign a TikTok video by converting it into an educational PowerPoint presentation that can be used in an academic setting.
